Palates and Palettes Dining with Artists

This year the d'ART Center launches a new series of special events entitled Palates and Palettes Dining with the Artists - a ticketed series of social gatherings, dinners, cocktail parties, pool parties, BBQs, etc. at the homes of d’ART Center’s Board of Directors' and others'. Each event features a d'ART Center Artist or Artists as the guest(s) of honor showing art and connecting with the guests.

Palates and Palettes Dining with the Artists is a creative event providing food, fun and art in fabulous homes around Hampton Roads. The evening's host selects the theme for the evening, the menu and the Artist(s) who they think will suit the occasion. The Artist(s) will demonstrate their artistic talents, exhibit an array of their original artwork and artwork for a special drawing at the event. Artwork sales go 100% to the artists.

Tickets are $50 per person with a limited number of guests per home. All proceeds from Palates and Palettes Dining with the Artists will go to support the educational programs and activities of the d'ART Center.

Waterman's Delight ~ Surf & Turf Party!

Our series continues with a Palates and Palettes Waterman's Delight evening on the north bank of the Lafayette River in Norfolk's historic Algonquin Park on July 26, 6:00-8:00PM at the home of Bill Gray and Donna Phaneuf.

Enjoy fine Surf + Turf delicacies, a waterfront sunset and personally mingle with two highly renowned d'ART Center artists, Lynne Sward with Mixed Media and Steve Fanelty with Fine Jewelery. They will each present their award winning and nationally recognized work for a one-on-one experience with the artist.

The cost is only $50 per person per event. Space is limited so call today!

Palates and Palettes ~ Yates Wine Tasting

Come to a amazing Wine Tasting at the home of Jeff and Terry Profilet Yates in Chesapeake, VA. The Yates will unveil their new Wine Cellar and Wine Tasting room while treating guests to an evening of great wines including the highly anticipated 2005 French Bordeaux. Omar's scrumptious appetizers will tantalize the palate while Artist Anne McNally delights guests with her palette of fine oil paintings.
