New Art Exhibition 2009

ART EXHIBITION: January 16 - March 1, 2009

Each year in early January, the d'ART Center celebrates the new art of its Resident, Associate and Alumni Artists with a wine tasting event thta showcases the exceptional work that is created throughout the year.

A wide range of media, subjects, styles and prices are presented representing the breadth of art that is exhibited in the Center to appeal to the tastes of all patrons.

The New Art New Wine 2009, d'ART's Wine and Champagne Tasting fund-raiser, held January 16, 2009 was a huge success raising money in support of d'ART Smart, the Center's educational art outreach program for at risk children and teens in Hampton Raods. 

Patrons enjoyed the artist's new artwork, hot jazz by the Jim Newsom Quartet, delightful steak and tuna from Shula's 347, silent auction packages and tastings from numerous international wines as well as local Virginia wineries Holly Grove and Williamsburg.

Come experience New Art 2009 on exhibit in four sky-lit d'ART galleries through March 1, 2009. Admission is FREE Open Tuesday - Saturday 10-5 PM and Sundays 1-5PM.
