d'ART's 23rd Annual Mid-Atlantic Art Exhibition showcases the best of the best from artists around the country! This year's juror William Hennessy, Executive Director of the Chrysler Museum of Art, had the daunting task of hand selecting the exhibiton from 563 artworks submitted by Artists from 18 states!
The 23rd Annual National Mid Atlantic Art Exhibition features 58 pieces of amazing 2-D and 3-D artwork in three of the d'ART Center's sky-lit galleries. Visitors will delight in a wide variety of visual arts mediums including; Mixed Aqueous, Mohogany, PastelsSilverpoint on Silver Tray, Ceramics, Digital Photography, Fiber Pine Needles and much more!
The 2013 Mid Atlantic Art Exhibiton also features a walk down memory lane with the new d'ART Center Mid Atlantic Archive Gallery exhibiting 10 years of Mid Atlantic Best-in-Show Purchase Award artwork - all available for sale!
On Friday, April 26, 2013 at 6:30pm our presenting sponsor Southern Bank and award sponsors Dominion Capital Partners, Susan & Marty Einhorn and Siska Aurand awarded a $1,500 Best-in-Show Purchase Award for the d'ART Center's collection, a $600 Award of Excellence, a $300 Award of Distinction, two $200 Awards of Merit and a the Peggy Kelly Memorial Awrd and the Kenneth Fulp Memorial Award.
