Open Calls for Artists

The d'Art Center offers Summer Camp for 6 weeks in June, July, and August. STEAM Summer Camp features activities such as clay, mixed media, technology and digital art, and art on the move. Daily activities correspond to a weekly theme that presents a different lesson plan that combines art with STEM! Students learn from professional art educators and d'Art's on-site resident artists. Throughout these weeks they work collaboratively, enjoy short field trips, and create unique art projects using a variety of media and techniques.

Delectable is an exhibition of food themed artworks from across the country. This exhibition is open to all functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in ALL MEDIUMS and ALL STYLES. Work must depict food to be considered. Works can include other objects, but the focal point/subject of the work should focus on a food element. Artworks can be of cooked and prepared food, raw fruits and vegetables, food in process (such as preparing meals or farming), eating, etc. We want our patron’s mouths to water as they walk around our gallery and their hearts to be full as they think of food traditions, food cultures, and the simple fact that food brings us all together. Everybody eats!

This is a juried exhibition, and it will be co-curated by gallery manager Amanda Bradley, and exhibition juror, TBA.
