The d'Art Center offers two different partnership levels for artists!
The d'Art Center has gallery spaces in the center that are divided into 15 spaces. 2D Associate artists have wall space and print bin space to sell their work, and 3D artists are provided with pedestals or floating shelves against or near the wall space in the center's galleries. They also participate in meaningful
community outreach programming, participate in offsite d’Art installations, and are promoted through d'Art's digital and print media campaigns.
Associate Artist Program
The d'Art Center houses many working artists studios. Resident artists have an onsite studio space in the center which is located in Norfolk's NEON District, participate in meaningful community outreach programming, are promoted through d'Art's digital and print media campaigns, participate in offsite d’Art installations, sell work from their studios, and are part of a collaborative studio atmosphere of other onsite professional working artists.
Rent ranges from $10 - $50 a month and is determined by the square footage. Associate artists are required to gallery sit one Saturday a year (when an exhibition is installed), and are expected to volunteer occasionally throughout the year for programming and events. Commission is 80%(artist)/20%(d'Art).
