Debra Denise Arnold - Remote Associate - Newport, NC

Debra Denise Arnold is a native of Newport, North Carolina, and has been interested in art since she was a child. She followed her passion by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from East Carolina University (magnum cum laude) and subsequently spent the next 30 years teaching art. In order to more effectively understand how to teach her students, she also earned a Master’s Degree in Brain Science from Nova Southeastern University (sum cum laude). In 2020, Debra retired from teaching and became a full-time artist−allowing herself the opportunity to fully pursue her lifelong dream to be a working artist. The beauty of God’s creation is the inspiration for all her oil paintings. Debra’s work has been exhibited in various galleries throughout North Carolina, Virginia, and internationally online.
