Born in Alabama, raised in Virginia Beach, Holly Graves is an Art Education major at Old Dominion University. Upon graduation, Holly plans to further her education as member of VCU’s MFA in Ceramics program where she will further advance her skills of manipulation, glaze mixing, and all the exciting science that intertwines with art. Holly loves immersing herself in the learning environment and pushing those around her to be better while creating a positive atmosphere. She believes that encouraging fellow artists while utilizing process- based art such as ceramics is rewarding due to the time and energy spent within each piece. She is the creator of The Everyday Clay, an individually owned business she started last November. Holly has sold throughout the US and Canada since then. She has excitement not only for sharing her work, but passing on her knowledge as well ; serving as a constant push for her to continue to progress.
