Laura Henderson is a local Norfolk artist specializing in acrylic abstract paintings inspired by nature and landscapes. Laura has always painted, and many who know her best, know of her doodling habit that has turned out books and books full of pen and ink doodles.
Laura is also the founder and owner of local business, BizConnect Hampton Roads. During the recent pandemic shutdown, she found herself with some free time on her hands and has always dreamed of having an art studio as an outlet for her creativity. She opened a studio in her BizConnect office and started painting again after many, many years. It started as just a hobby and then she began prolifically producing work. After putting a few paintings in her office-front window and posting them on social media, her work began selling very quickly.
Laura’s mission is to create original artwork that is affordable and obtainable for the beginning art collector. She would rather see her art work in someone’s home being enjoyed, then make a huge profit on her work.
