Ronda Baucom - Painting

Ronda Baucom joined the d’Art Center board in 2021 and is passionate about the promoting d’Art’s mission of making art accessible to all. Ronda is practically a Norfolk native; she moved to Ghent in 1994 and loves being within walking distance to The Chrysler Museum of Art and new d’Art Center. Ronda’s interest in art flourished in college. She graduated from Winthrop University in 1991 with a BA in English, but took many Art History and Interior Design classes. She continues to support the arts through the d’Art board, purchasing art from local artists - especially Stockley Gardens Art Festival, and creating oil paintings of her own!

Ronda is excited for the future of the d’Art Center and looks forward to helping promote the working artists studios, changing exhibits, camps and other inspiring programs.
